British Scraptiidae

RES Handbook vol 5 part 18. A small group of beetles with no vernacular name, the Scraptiidae are cosmopolitan in distribution, with about 400 species worldwide. This new volume covers the 16 species, from two genera, recorded in the British Isles. Fully illustrated keys to genera and species are provided. Notes on each species include information on British and European distribution, abundance, intraspecific variation, phenology of the adults, and larval hosts, if known.
