Land snails in the British Isles (2nd edition)

This fully illustrated AIDGAP identification guide should enable most beginners to identify all the land snails found in the field in Great Britain. Like all other AIDGAP keys, the guide was extensively tested during preparation. The guide contains two sets of keys (pictorial and dichotomous) to families or groups of similar families, and then separate keys to the species within each group. The keys rely mainly on shell characters, allowing the identification of empty shells. A final and separate set of keys is provided for the small number of species where identification requires dissection.
