MoorWILD pdf

This printable PDF is a field guide to some of the most common and/or iconic moorland animal species found within the Peak District National Park and South Pennine moors. This document will enable you to get a good feel for the types of birds, reptiles, mammals and insects you are likely to encounter on a walk across the moors. With text that covers key features and photos for each species you will soon be putting a name to the animals that make our moors such a unique place. The resource also provides information about the work being done by the Moors for the Future Partnership, within the MoorLIFE project, and how this is helping to restore and preserve moorland habitats of European importance.
