Key to the identification of British centipedes

This AIDGAP identification guide should enable non-specialists to identity the 57 species of centipede found on the island of Britain, including 7 species known only from greenhouses. It includes dichotomous and tabular keys backed up by concise confirmatory notes. Centipedes are some of the commonest larger arthropods found in our greenhouses, sheds, gardens, waste ground, woodland, moorland and coastal habitats, but the standard key (Eason, 1964) is now out of date and out of print. This new key includes the additional ten species discovered during the last 40 years.
